Holmen Wood Products produces sawn and refined wood products for joinery, construction and builders’ merchants. We offer customised solutions and construction systems for the climate-smart wooden buildings of the future.
Holmen Wood Products
Holmen supplies high-quality wood products to the joinery and construction industry and to builders’ merchants and wood product importers. Following the acquisition of Martinsons in 2020, we now also offer customised solutions for climate-smart, large-scale building in wood. The unique properties of glulam and CLT have enabled Martinsons Byggsystem to develop frame systems for halls, bridges and apartment blocks, building the sustainable society of the future.
Holmen’s high-tech sawmills are the hub of our circular business. All chain-of-custody certified, our sawmills are located in Linghem, Braviken, Iggesund, Kroksjön and Braviken in Sweden. The wood raw material comes from our own forest holdings and from other forest owners via an efficient logistics chain from forest to saw.
The business is growing by increasing the value added and making better use of the wood raw material in combination with sustainable, large-scale production. Holmen Wood Products employs about 750 people.
