Holmen's Annual General Meeting 2023 resolved in favour of paying a dividend of SEK 16 (11.5) per share, of which SEK 8 (4) per share relates to an extra dividend.
Dividend will be based on the Group's profitability situation, future investment plans and financial position.
Over the past decade the total dividend has averaged 4 per cent of equity. This means that around 75 per cent of earnings per share have been paid by way of total dividend.
In addition to ordinary dividends, Holmen paid extra dividends for the financial years 1998, 2000, 2003, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

There has been no change in the development of share capital since 2004.
The 2023 Annual General Meeting authorised the Board to be able to take decisions to purchase up to 10 per cent of the company's shares, by acquiring B-shares.
The Board of Directors of Holmen has decided to exercise its authorisation from the Annual General Meeting 2023 to buy back own shares. Repurchases may amount to a maximum of 3 million shares of series B during the period from and including 3 May 2023 until the next annual general meeting, on one or several occasions.
Holmen's total own holding of shares at 31 of May amounts to 1 284 969 of the series B-shares, which corresponds to 0.8 per cent of the total number of shares in issue and to some 0.2 percent of the total number of votes. You will find updated information on Holmen's buy-backs on the Nasdaq website.
